DHHIG Secretary, Ms. Gail Edwards
Dear DHHIG Board of Directors:
In the past four months, I have tried my best to fix several major
problems which I believe was preventing this particular DHHIG
administration from moving forward. I’m not perfect and do not claim
to know the perfect solution to the problems.
My main dilemma right now is that I have run out of energy to devote
to so many things in my life simultaneously. I have come to a
crossroad where I must make a decision where to devote my undivided
energy. I cannot continue to be spread thin on my devotion to several
major life events.
I will not leave you guessing any further on the reason of this
letter. So, I will say that this is my resignation letter. I am
leaving this position to focus on other major career issues that have
recently become prominent and in need of my undivided attention.
I will leave the DHHIG Chair volunteer position effective immediately
today Saturday September 12, 2009 and will allow the DHHIG Board to
regroup and move forward.
I will continue to be part of DHHIG as I have been in the last 10+
years as a volunteer and will be available until October 31, 2009 to
respond to any institutional questions related to my former duties as
DHHIG Treasurer (March 18, 1999 – May 7, 2009) and DHHIG Chair (May 7
to September 12, 2009.)
I look forward to continued success of DHHIG administration in your hands.
Sincerely,
John Olumoya.

Interesting development!
Because we know that he’s been DHHIG Treasurer for over 10 years and then was elected President and managed to win the Treasurer of his choice for the position that he left, WHAT has been done to make sure that everything is transferred to the new leadership?
Everything SHOULD/MUST be transferred ASAP and an accounting made so that the members and DHHIG as an organization is protected and can go forward.

As of today, DHHIG money remains in JOHN’s hands. He resigned Sept 12, 2009.
Legally when he resigned he had NO absolutely NO rights to hold any of DHHIG’s money or equipment for ANY reason. By doing so, he has opened himself to a possible lawsuit and charges of theft.
I encourage him to release DHHIG’s money ASAP.
